Beginning of our collectors time with the 1st frog in pewter we found in Germany
1st article in a newspaper (over 500 frogs in our collection)
Very busy with "frog collecting": every frog object and every frog figure was put into our collection!
Our first USA-trip (California, Nevada, Colorado and New York). We came back with several hundred pieces!
Participation to a Collector-Exhibition-Show in Münchenstein. 20 private collectors exhibited their own collection, for example: elephant-figures, owl-figures, cat-figures etc. Weselves showed 300 frog-figures of our own collection and had a good time there!
Wrapping and moving the 3000 frog-figures from our private home to our very 1st museum in Basel, a then very small museum (ca. 25-30 m2)!
First experience with our small museum, continuing with "frog collecting" up to 5000 pieces. About 1'200 visitors and Swiss TV-report and some articles in different newspapers!
Moving from Basel to Münchenstein with 5000 frog objects and installing the new and large museum (100 m2) in the building of the HANDWERKSTADT, a commercial center for craft works.
Grand opening of the unique FROGMUSEUM with press conference (about 23 journalists and reporters!). The Swiss most famous story teller TRUDY GERSTER joined the party!
Guinness-Book of Records (with a picture and an article!)
Enlargement of the museum (up to 150 m2)
USA-trip, visiting the famous town at the Gold Highway 49 "Angels Camp", called "Frogtown". Every year, in the month of May, a contest of frog jumping takes place (real frogs have to jump as far as possible!!!).

5-year-jubilee with about 700 (!) visitors from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
15'000 visitors
1st frog-collector-meeting. 30 frog-collectors met in the museum, had a cocktail-party, exchange of ideas and had a very great time and lot of fun!
The new homepage of the frogmuseum started in the INTERNET and e-mail was activated! Not only general informations are available, but also a lot of pictures are presented. Go and have a look and enjoy yourself!
